As part of a fast growing Engineering organization, you will play a critical leadership role in our Software QA strategy to design, build and execute comprehensive test plans spanning both manual and automated forms of testing. You will work with our Engineering Managers, Engineering Team Leads, Release Team Lead and Business Analysts in the design, development and maintenance of functional, feature, performance and stress test cases. You will employ modern software engineering practices including Test Driven Development and Agile methodologies. You will help define and assess quality metrics and release goals of the highest standards

You must have sound knowledge and experience in QA methodology, experience in manual, adhoc and automated testing, ability to learn new programming/scripting techniques quickly, perseverance and passion to succeed. We are headquartered in San Mateo, California, but all our Engineering is done in India. This position is located in Malad which is a suburb of Mumbai. It has all the advantages of Mumbai without the commute and the high rents!


Job Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Following activities will be his responsibility

		Design functional and feature test plans
		Develop, document and maintain test cases
		Adopt robust QA engineering practices including high levels of test coverage, and attention to detail in documenting test cases and defects
		Collaborate within cross-functional teams comprising of Engineering Managers, Release Team Lead, QA Lead, Engineering Team Leads and Business Analysts
		Own and deliver assigned tasks with a high level of quality and polish. Help release features and provide production support

Knowledge & Skill Set:

Required:

		2+ years of web-based software product QA experience
		Good understanding of QA methodologies and processes
		Good grasp of configuration management and product release processes pertaining to mission-critical software systems
		Good communication skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams
		Good analytic and problem-solving ability
		B.E/B.Tech/B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent engineering field from reputed institutions

Also Desired:

		Automation development experience with C# in a .NET-based test framework
		Basic SQL skills with ability to understand and develop queries
		Knowledge of scripting technologies
		Experience in testing equity research applications
		Experience with Agile practices
