SAN MATEO, CA — August 25, 2006 — Gridstone Research, a provider of structured company analysis for investment managers and corporations, today announced the appointment of Tom Paparatto to the position of Vice President of Business Development. Tom Paparatto brings more than 25 years of business and product development experience to Gridstone. He has a proven track record of building new products and businesses, opening, developing, and expanding new markets, and building go-to-market alliances. Prior to joining Gridstone, Paparatto served as Managing Director, Global Product Development at Fitch Ratings, where he planned and launched a new information business to deliver research content to institutional investors worldwide.
